This wedding was an eye-catching beauty for our fall season. Cruz assembled a A-team of vendors for this wedding and reception and we were pleased to work among some of our favorites: Cru Catering of Charleston, Eventworks, Ashley Bakery, and Squeeze Onsite Bar Services. We are lucky to see most of these remarkable professionals at events and weddings several times a month; having partners of this caliber together to roll out a major event effectively and efficiently is one of the great blessings of getting married in Charleston. The second is that there is a non-stop feed of creativity between the professionals involved in the wedding industry here. Being comfortable together and understanding one another’s work styles keeps things moving and the stress away from the happy couples.
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is one of Charleston’s oldest and most picturesque wedding venues, offering Lowcountry views and the waterline along side some of the most magnificent gardens in the nation. Tucked away north of the city in quiet pastoral scenery, Magnolia maintains one of the original land grant areas remaining in Charleston. In both a nod to history and new beginnings, a rush of new creativity is juxtaposed alongside the marshy beauty of the old place, making a perfect location for lighting rentals for Magnolia Plantation.

Once again, AV Connections, Inc. had the pleasure to serve a great client with conference AV rentals in Charleston at the Belmond Charleston Place Hotel. We love this magnificent hotel and enjoy working with Charleston’s Places’s world class staff. We had been here only two weeks prior for another national sales summit. We were happy to reprise our AV work with another great national sales meeting, this time for Farm Credit Services.
A wide variety of audiovisual rental equipment was deployed from AV Connections’s vast inventory for this national conference. We provided multiple 9×12″ projection surface screens, Shure UHF Lavalier Microphones, pipe and drape for the screens, standing podium, hand held microphones, multiple 32″ LCD HD flat screen monitors, Extron switchers, and Yamaha mixers among other items for the audiovisual presentation. To light these events, we provided Leko 4 source lighting fixtures, LED SlimPAR 64 decorative stage lighting among other rental lighting inventory items.
The conference meeting and breakout rooms were also individually set up and tech’d by AV Connections with audiovisual rentals and experienced members of our South Carolina and North Carolina conference technology teams. Presentations were held in the Grand Ballroom and breakout rooms throughout the conference.
We look forward to serving FCS again in the future and certainly to working with the talented team at Charleston Belmod Palce again very soon.
AV Connections was recently given the pleasure of serving the Hughesnet’s conference with great meeting audiovisual at the Belmond Charleston Place Hotel off King Street in our own beautiful Charleston, SC. Charleston is one of the nation’s most popular conference destinations; Offering the most beautiful city in the U.S. complete with our own incredible mix of five star dining and restaurants and along side incredible beaches and golf.
The Farm Credit Council selected the venerable, beautiful, and centrally located Belmond Charleston Place for their 2015 meetings and conference, and selected AV Connections to provide the audiovisual rentals and technical team to support these events. We were pleased to send our event technology group, joined by other teams members from our North Carolina branch, to provide both flawless AV and knowledgeable and experienced audiovisual technicians. We were happy to set up, tech, and tear down their conference and always welcome the opportunity to provide clients with the same level of service in all future cities their conferences many travel to.
